Conference 2026
Remembrance Versus Revisionism in Jasenovac Historical Research and Commemoration
The 24th Annual JRI International Conference brings together historians, scholars, survivors, and human rights advocates to examine the ongoing struggle between accurate historical remembrance and the forces of revisionism that seek to distort the record of the Jasenovac genocide.
This year’s program focuses specifically on how historical research and commemorative practices have been shaped — and in some cases undermined — by political agendas, and what scholars and institutions can do to ensure the integrity of the historical record.
